Suggested April 2024 How To Download Netflix Content To Watch Offline

Whether it’s a long plane flight or a 30-minute Uber ride, Netflix has become synonymous with occupying yourself while on the go. TV shows like “Squid Games,” “Bridgerton” and “You” all demand to be binged. It’s super easy when you are at home connected to your Internet, but what happens when you are traveling or commuting? In cases like these, it is useful to download all of your favorite Netflix content to watch offline.

How Do You Start Downloading Netflix Shows?

Downloading on any of your devices is going to work the same, for the most part. Netflix’s app is pretty consistent from platform to platform, so instructions for iOS won’t vary too much from Android and vice versa.

iPhone and iPad

Downloading Netflix content for iOS and iPadOS is the same.

Open the Netflix app on your iPhone and identify the show or movie you want to download.

Assuming the show or movie is downloadable, a giant “Download” button will appear beneath the “Play” button. Tap on “Download” and wait for the content to be downloaded.

Launch the Netflix app and locate the movie or show you wish to download and watch offline.

Tap on the “Download” button underneath the “Play” button, and your selected content will start downloading.

The Netflix app is available as a free download from the Microsoft Store for both Windows 10 and 11.

Launch the Netflix app on your laptop or desktop. Choose the movie or TV show you want to download.

As is the case with macOS, there is no native app for ChromeOS, and the Web version doesn’t allow you to download Netflix for offline viewing. The best and only workaround is to download the Netflix app from the Play Store (if your Chromebook supports Android apps), ten follow the steps outlined above for Android to download Netflix content.

What About Offline Viewing for macOS?

Unfortunately for macOS users, there is no direct download option for Mac. Instead, you have to utilize one of two workaround options. The first is to use Windows on your Mac computer. This can be done one of two ways:

For Intel Mac users, Bootcamp is an option that allows you to run Windows on your Mac as a separate install. Bootcamp is no longer available on Apple’s M1-based computer lineup, so this option will not work with owners of M1 Macs..

Note that with Bootcamp, you will still be required to provide your own Windows license. Alternatively, you can use software like Parallels to create a virtual environment for Windows on your macOS computer, then use the Windows method for downloading movies offline.

Are All of Netflix’s Titles Available to Download?

There is a pretty strong chance the content you want to watch offline will be available. However, there are some Netflix titles that cannot be downloaded, usually related to licensing issues. Netflix indicates that a show will not be available for download due to one of three reasons:

Content rights are currently exclusive to another company.

Rights are not available to purchase from the content provider.

Popularity, cost, seasonal or other localized factors or availability.

There is no dedicated list of titles that are not available to download. It’s more experimental where if you see a show that can be downloaded, assume you won’t have any issues. If you stumble across content that cannot be downloaded, it’s very likely because of one of the three reasons above.

      What About Storage Requirements?

If you are planning to download a huge amount of content to your device, storage will always be an issue. The number of shows and movies you can download will depend on how much free space is available on your device. How many movies you can save on your device is solely based on how much free space you want to allow for offline viewing.

How Do I Choose Download Quality?

To change between the two video quality options:

As indicated above, the quality impacts how much data is downloaded. Netflix notes that while streaming, Standard video quality can use upward of 700MBs of data per hour while Higher can utilize up to 3GB of data while streaming. That’s comparable to 4K content on television using upward of 7GB for the same 60 minutes worth of content.

One very helpful feature Netflix adds around downloading is the opportunity to “Download Next Episode.” With this functionality, Netflix will automatically download the next episode in a TV series you are watching and delete the episode(s) you recently finished.

How Do You Delete Downloaded Content? Frequently Asked Questions 1. Is there any charge for downloading offline? 2. How much data is used to download a movie or TV show? Wrapping Up

As Netflix lets you download the bulk of its content for offline viewing, you should never want for something to watch. Whether that is on the go on a train, plane or bus, there are plenty of choices to try. May we suggest “Squid Game,” “The Witcher” or “Money Heist”? In fact, the real question is not what you can watch, but whether you should watch Netflix or Amazon Prime?

Netflix France has some exclusive movies and TV series that you can only watch if you’re connected to a French Internet network. As such, if you are living or traveling outside of France and wondering how to watch French Netflix in USA or another country, just use a VPN.

A virtual private network solution hides your IP address and spoofs your location. By connecting to a VPN server, you are basically broadcasting a different IP and redirecting all your network traffic through VPN. So the trick is to use a fake IP address from France.

How can I get French Netflix abroad?

      Download Private Internet Access

Set up PIA on your computer and launch it

Press the big power button to connect to the France VPN server

Launch your web browser and visit Netflix (check out the best quality browsers for Netflix)

Congrats! You can now watch French Netflix in USA or any other country

What’s the best VPN to watch French Netflix in USA?

Private Internet Access (PIA) is the best VPN to watch French Netflix in USA or any other part of the world. Owned by Kape Technologies, PIA gives you access to numerous VPN servers worldwide. You can use it to bypass geoblocks and access blocked websites, including streaming services like Netflix.

Furthermore, PIA protects your browsing sessions from phishing and other malware, supports all major platforms, and allows 10 simultaneous connections. It doesn’t capture any identifying logs.

      More about PIA:

+3,300 VPN servers in 48 countries, including France

      OpenVPN manual configuration for routers

      Watch France Netflix without buffering

      24/7 live chat support

30-day money-back guarantee (no free trial)

      Private Internet Access

Watch French Netflix in USA or any other country by turning to this fast and secure VPN.

      $2.85/mo. Buy it now

In conclusion, if you want to watch France Netflix in USA or any other part of the world, use a premium VPN like PIA and connect to a French VPN server to lift the geo-restrictions.

Unfortunately, free VPNs for Netflix rarely do their job right. That’s because they use free IP  addresses as their VPN servers, which can be quickly detected and blocked by the streaming service.

Your connection is not secure – websites you visit can find out your details:

Use a VPN to protect your privacy and secure your connection.

We recommend Visit Private Internet Access

We recommend Private Internet Access , a VPN with a no-log policy, open source code, ad blocking and much more; now 79% off.

How To Fix Netflix Error Codes B33

In today’s post, we will identify some potential known causes that can trigger the Netflix app error codes B33-S6 and UI-113, as well as provide the possible solutions you can try to help remediate the issue as it relates to either of the error codes.

      Netflix error code B33-S6

You may encounter the Netflix error code B33-S6 when you try to login to the Netflix app or try to use the Netflix app.

We’re sorry, but an unexpected error was encountered.

We are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it. Please try again later. If the problem doesn’t go away soon, contact Netflix customer service.

      Error code: B33-S6

When the error code is displayed, it will either force close the app or won’t let you use the app.

The error is displayed because of two issues. The first is because of poor or no network connectivity. The second reason might be because of an issue in stored information or issue with the settings of the app.

If you’re faced with the Netflix error code B33-S6, you can try either of the our two recommended solutions below in no particular order and see if that helps to resolve the issue.

      Check the network connection

      Uninstall and reinstall Netflix

Let’s take a look at the description of the process involved in relation to each of the listed solutions.

      1] Check the network connection

To check your network connection to determine if you can’t access the internet or you are having trouble in network connectivity, do the following:

      Locate your internet modem/router.

Disconnect the power cable of the modem/router.

      Now, wait 5 minutes.

Reconnect the power cable and make sure the modem/router is turned on.

Now check if the network connection is working. If you are still experiencing problems in the network then contact your network provider.

If your network isn’t the issue but the Netflix error code B33-S6 persists, then continue with the next solution.

      2] Uninstall and reinstall Netflix

The error code B33-S6 can be caused by the problem in stored information and settings of the Netflix app. Since there is a problem in the app files and settings, simply uninstalling and reinstalling the Netflix app will solve the problem.

To uninstall and reinstall the Netflix app, do the following:

Note: Uninstalling the app will delete the titles that you have downloaded.

      Uninstall instructions

Press Windows key + R to open up a Run dialog box.

Next, type ms-settings:appsfeatures and press Enter to open up the Apps & Features tab of the Settings app.

Next, locate the Netflix app on the right side of the Apps & Features window.

Once the operation is complete, reboot your computer and wait for the next startup to complete.

      Install instructions

After the next startup is complete, continue as follows:

Press Windows key + R to open up another Run dialog box.

Now type ms-windows-store://home and press Enter to open up the Microsoft Store.

Next, use the Microsoft Store’s search function (top-right section of the screen) to search for Netflix.

Once the application is installed again, launch Netflix UWP again and see if the error is resolved.

      Netflix error code UI-113

This may be caused by problems with your home network, interrupted Internet connection, corrupt cached app data on your streaming device. It may also appear if the Netflix service itself has failed.

When you encounter Netflix error Code UI-113, you will normally receive the following message:

      Code: ui-113

If you’re faced with the Netflix error code UI-113, you can try our recommended solutions below in no particular order and see if that helps to resolve the issue.

Try accessing Netflix via a web browser

      Restart your streaming device

      Restart your router/modem

Disconnect any VPN and Proxy connection

Sign out from Netflix and sign back in

Clear the Netflix app cache on your device

      Uninstall and reinstall Netflix app

Let’s take a look at the description of the process involved in relation to each of the listed solutions.

1] Try accessing Netflix via a web browser 2] Restart your streaming device

It’s possible the device you’re using to stream contents on Netflix could be causing the error code UI-113. There might be some bug or some loading problem with it that might be preventing it from connecting to the internet. In this case, do the following:

Unplug the power to your Streaming Device.

      Now, wait for 5 minutes.

Plug in your device and see if Netflix works.

If the issue persists, continue with the next solution.

      3] Restart your router/modem

It is also possible that there might be a configuration issue with the internet modem/router that you are using. In this case, you can try power cycling the internet device. Here’s how:

Unplug the power to your internet device.

Now, wait for at least 5 minutes.

Plug in the modem/router and wait for the connectivity light to start blinking.

Afterwards, launch the Netflix app and see if the error code UI-113 is resolved. If not, continue with the next solution.

4] Disconnect any VPN and Proxy connection

If you are connected to the Internet via a virtual private network or proxy server, you can try to disconnect and connect directly to the Internet. Sometimes, the device will have problems connecting to the Internet if you are connected to another server. The device may not be able to contact the streaming services so in this case, disconnecting all VPN and proxy connection could resolve the Netflix error code UI-113.

5] Sign out from Netflix and sign back in

      To sign our and sign back in, do the following;

      Head to Netflix account page.

      Go to the Settings option.

Select Sign Out Of all devices.

This will sign Netflix out of all the devices you use Netflix on.

Sign in again to the device.

Launch the Netflix app and see if the error code UI-113 is resolved. If not proceed with the next solution.

6] Clear the Netflix app cache on your device

Depending on your device, do the following to clear the Netflix app data cache:

For Amazon Fire TV or Fire TV Stick

Press the Home button on your Fire TV remote.

      Select Settings

      Select Manage installed applications.

      Select the Netflix app.

      Select Clear data.

Select Clear data a second time.

      Select Clear cache.

Unplug your Fire TV device for a couple of minutes.

Plug your Fire TV device back in.

      For  a ROKU device

Press the Home button on your remote five times.

Press the up arrow button one time.

Press the fast rewind button two times.

Press the fast forward button twice

      The Roku will restart.

      For  a Windows 10 device

Follow our instructions in this blogpost to reset the Netflix UWP app to clear it’s cache.

After clearing the cache on your devices, relaunch the Netflix app and see if the error code UI-113 is resolved. If not, continue with the next solution.

7] Uninstall and reinstall Netflix app

If the problem still persists then it should be with the Netflix app itself. In this case, uninstalling and reinstalling the app on your device could fix the error code UI-113.

If none of the troubleshooting steps outlined in this post for Netflix error code B33-S6 and UI-113 doesn’t help you, you may need to contact your device manufacturer, Internet service provider or Netflix for assistance.

      How To Download Instagram Videos

I really like Instagram. With it you can easily share images and videos with your friends. The fact that you’re able to share these things on this platform isn’t even the coolest thing. The coolest thing is the fact that some people make some seriously creative and funny things in 15 second video form. And believe me, there’s no shortage of videos being made. One day you may be scrolling through your feed and think “I wish I could download this.” Or you may have created a new Instagram account and you’re interested in backing up all of your videos. Well, you can!

Download video one at a time

To download an Instagram video, first you’ll need its URL. Head over to the Instagram profile that the video is located on and copy it to your clipboard. Once you’ve got the Instagram video’s URL, head over to this website. Once at the website, paste the Instagram video link into the video URL box on the page. Doing so will generate a file for you that starts downloading automatically.

Note: if you wish to have the video you want to download sent to your email, put your email into the email box on the page.

Download automatically with “If This Then That”

Selecting Google Drive as an action channel will reveal several actions to choose from. Find and select “Upload from URL.”

From now on, every time you like a video on Instagram, IFTTT will go out and download it and save it to your Google Drive account. If you decide that you don’t like this recipe, just go to the “My Recipes” section in IFTTT and delete the video downloading recipe.

Note: it’s possible to follow the same steps and send your videos to Dropbox instead of Google Drive. Just choose Dropbox as an action channel instead of Google Drive in the setup process.

Social media and short video clips go together very well. It just so happens that in the world of social media, Instagram is one of the best ways to share these short video clips. I hope that with this guide you’ll find even more ways to share a short fifteen second video clip online. Enjoy!

How To Win With 10X Content

Case studies and best practices for producing truly outstanding content

With the ongoing rise in content marketing, smarter search engines and increased competition within the earned media space, what does it take to really stand out and gain attention?

As we start the New Year, now is as good a time as any to aim for a new set of higher standards for the content we’ll be producing in 2024 and onwards.

Recently, Rand Fishkin produced an excellent Whiteboard Friday explaining why the creation of ‘reasonably good, unique content’ must die:

Rand’s main point was that the days of producing reasonably good, useful, unique content is no longer an acceptable level of quality for those aiming to compete by ranking highly and generate interest in search. Instead, we must set our sights much higher:

Source: Moz defines 10x content as:

“Content that has gravitas, is enduring and worth paying attention to”

The term ‘10x content’ is just another way of articulating the need for content producers to go above and beyond. The modern criteria for content has changed as a result of the emergence of content marketing as a discipline, the increased focus on user experience, the transition from link building to link earning and ultimately a shift in user expectations. People simply expect more from content today (faster page load, great design, quick answers to questions).

Content creators therefore need to respond. The criteria for 10x content includes:

      Entertaining/ moving/ thought provoking

If a piece of content is genuinely entertaining, moving or thought-provoking, it is more likely to evoke an emotional response and generate interest.

      Provides genuine utility

Providing utility adds real value. Content should solve a problem for the user, answer a question or help them achieve a goal.

Similarly to the above, content that fulfils customer needs by educating and teaching them something new or interesting is more likely to build a trusted and emotional connection.

      Absorbing/ immersive

An immersive experience is a web environment that uses compelling imagery or video as the focal point of the content to absorb the user’s attention from the moment they hit the site.

      Visually stunning

Great visuals and design can be used to augment and add value to other content formats, such as articles, apps and videos.

Detailed, long-form content that provides value for the reader has been shown to have higher success rates within search and social and is something that has again been picked up as a possible ranking factor following the release of Google’s quality guidlines.

      Includes in-depth research

Content that is well-researched and/ or backed up by sound data and reasoning adds credibility and provides a point of differentiation.

Provides a uniquely positive user experience

Providing a positive user experience should be the minimum standard. 10x content is about providing a uniquely positive user experience that integrates design, branding and UX principles to stand out and offer something different.

Designed and produced for the right web experience (mobile, desktop, tablet, browser)

Content should always be optimised correctly for the target user’s preferred channels and platforms. And with users expecting quick results page load speed is essential, too.

      Includes optimised data visualisation/ infographics

Infographics and data visualisations should offer a clear purpose, message and value, backed up by good data and design.

Not all of the above criteria needs to be met in order to be 10x content but it helps when there’s a combination, for example entertaining + visually stunning or data visualisation/ infographic + genuine utility (there are many infographics that look pretty but offer very little value!).

Examples of 10x content provides a superb list of curated examples of 10x content to ecourage great work. This list inspired me to seek out some 10x content examples of my own which I’ve highlighted here along with some thoughts on what I believe makes the content so good:

Chasing the Chariot: In search of the soul of English rugby

An example from the Guardian of a very well-researched, in-depth piece of content that uses imagery, video and sound recordings to provide a genuinely absorbing reading experience.

McDonald’s Killed Burger King’s McWhopper, so We Made it Ourselves

When the McWhopper was proposed in summer 2024, there was a lot of coverage both from the mainstream press and across social media. Nevertheless, Serious Eats still managed to rank highly in search by offering their own unique approach to the creation of the McWhopper with content that combined entertainment with education and provided genuine utility for the reader.

How To Suck At Social Media: An Indispensable Guide For Businesses

At over 9,000 words, Avinash Kaushik has produced a social media user guide for businesses that is not only very detailed and well-researched but also educates, provides great utility and includes a number of very useful graphics to bring the frameworks, case studies and examples to life.

Steps to creating 10x content Focus on user experience

Content should be readable, optimised for multiple devices and be easy to interact with.

      A.B.R. – Always Be Researching

Good content starts with a true understanding of what your target audience will respond to. What are users already searching for? What is generating buzz within the social space?

There are a number of really useful competitor benchmarking tools for content marketing tools such as chúng tôi Quick Sprout and BuzzSumo, all of which can help to identify the type of content activity, strategies and tactics that are working for others and what, as a result, might best work for you.

      Solve problems

The goal should be to fulfil the searcher’s task and not just their query.

      Stop producing standard quality content

Standard, ‘1x content’ content is a waste of time. Unless you’re providing real value by being genuinely unique, outstanding or engaging, you’re unlikely to get results.

The days of producing lots and lots of mediocre content optimised around specific keywords are gone. Even large brands with strong domain authority need to create content that goes above and beyond to realise any kind of impact.

      Build relationships

Finally, look to build relationships. Share great content by others that’s relevant to your industry, co-operate with other thought-leaders and influencers and engage with customers and prospects across your different social and online platforms.
