How To Record Consignment Transactions In Tallyprime
Consignment is when you send the goods to a third party or agent who further sells those goods on your behalf. The ownership of the goods remains with you and the goods appear in the accounting records of your inventory. In TallyPrime, you can record Consignment sales from a Principal as well as from an Agent view. As a Principal, you need to record issuing your stock items to your agent, sales by a third party, the amount received from a third party and goods returned by a third party. How To Stop Automatic Picture
Picture in Picture (PiP) is handy and lets you continue watching a video even when you go out of the app. But there can be some inconveniences, and you might want to stop videos from playing automatically in PiP.
In this tutorial, we discuss the problem with Picture in Picture and how to stop it from kicking in automatically on your iPhone or iPad.
How to stop videos from automatically playing in Picture in Picture
Open iPhone or iPad Settings app.
Select General.
Tap Picture in Picture.
Turn off Start PiP Automatically.
From now on, whenever you swipe up from the bottom of the screen or press the Home button to exit a video app, the video won’t continue playing in a small floating PiP window. Depending on the app or website, the video will stop playing or play in audio mode.
The Picture in Picture problem in iOSAfter you turn off “Start PiP Automatically,” when you play a video inside Apple apps like Apple TV or Safari, you will see the Picture in Picture button. Simply tap it, and the video starts playing in a small floating window. You can leave the app, and the video will keep playing.
If you don’t want the video to play in Picture in Picture, don’t tap the PiP button. Simple as that. You have the desired choice. The problem starts with third-party apps.
YouTubeI’m a YouTube Premium member, so I get the (experimental) Picture in Picture privilege. Now, unlike Safari or the Apple TV app, there is no PiP button on the video playing screen of the YouTube app to enable Picture in Picture. So, the only way to use Picture in Picture in the YouTube app is by enabling the option to start PiP automatically on the system level. However, enabling that option also means that from now on, whenever I swipe up (or press the Home button) and go out of the app, that video will continue to play in the Picture in Picture window. I don’t have the choice to not use PiP when desired.
Jio TVJio TV is an extremely popular app in my country that lets me watch hundreds of TV channels, sports, movies, etc. Now, even in this app, there is no PiP button on the video playing screen. The only way to enter Picture in Picture in this app is to enable the system-wide setting to start PiP automatically. After that, when I exit the Jio TV app, the video continues to play in PiP mode.
After turning off Start PiP Automatically, some apps like YouTube keep the audio on when you exit the app. But many, like Jio TV, even stop the audio. So, it’s messed up. I have had the same experience with several other video apps.
In short, you have two options:
Enable “Start PiP Automatically”: After this, every playing video in almost all apps will start playing in a floating PiP window when you swipe up or press the Home button to exit that app.
Turn off “Start PiP Automatically”: After this, in some apps like Apple TV and Safari, you can still use the PiP button on the video screen to enter Picture in Picture when desired. But in many other third-party apps like YouTube, you can’t use Picture in Picture at all (unless they have a PiP button on the video player).
You can decide which of the two settings is more comfortable for you.

Working Of9 Customisations With Tallyprime
The enhanced interface has enforced to provide revolutionary changes in TDL. However, there have been efforts to ensure we do have backward compatibility to ensure the existing TDLs are working in TallyPrime with minimal effort.
There are no changes in TCP format to ensure minimum transition hurdles. Hence, all the compiled files would work without the need for re-compilation or any procedure to convert encryption format. However, for a better user experience, there have been numerous changes in Default chúng tôi Management Report

The buttons in the customised solutions shall not be functional in the following cases.
Button F12 has been removed from Menu context.
The custom buttons shall fail if any of the shortcut keys are already used in Default TDL. For example, F1 is a global key used for help; hence such button in customisation shall not work.
Bottom ToolBar has been removed.
Top Toolbar buttons have been completely reformed. Hence the existing toolbar buttons shall fail to load.
By specifying the ‘Column Report’ and ‘Repeat’ attributes at the Report, “New Column”, “Alter Column” and “Delete Column” buttons shall not be automatically added in TallyPrime. Now the required buttons should be added as needed. The change provides the ability in the hands of the developer. It aids them to position the buttons as per their design choice and order.

Menu Items at Gateway of Tally for masters, i.e. Accounts Info, Inventory Info, Payroll Info has been re-engineered for better user experience. All Master menu items have been moved under Create and Alter item. Each master has now been added as an Object, and related action needs to be specified at the object. Following coding elements should be referred.
The field has related Tables
[Field: CreateAlter Master]
Act On Table Element : @CreateMaster : Execute Obj Actions : MasterCreate
Act On Table Element : @AlterMaster : Execute Obj Actions : MasterAlter
Table : CreateAlter Master, CreateAlter Action
The developer needs to modify the Collection ‘F10Accounting Masters Objects’ as all the objects would be in the context of an Internal Object as an Object. While adding Action in Object, make use of Label – ‘MasterAlter’ to change the existing values and an object Label –‘MasterCreate’ to create a new master. These changes should be implemented as the field is already ready with the rest of engineering.
The import menu option moved from the menu ‘Gateway of Tally’ to Top toolbar button. The name of the menu ‘Import of Data’ has been replaced with the popup menu ‘Import TopMenu’ in the Top toolbar button.
The menu definition ‘Company info’ has been replaced with the popup menu ‘Company TopMenu’ in the Top toolbar button.
The menu ‘Configuration’ has been removed. The related configurations have been added under the respective features. For example, any configuration related to Import is moved under the menu definition ‘Import TopMenu’. These configurations are now specified as Objects.

The customised reports could be viewed in a browser, and there were few lines of code which was required to be added from chúng tôi 9 Release 6.6.1. However, from TallyPrime attributes/methods, ‘DefinitionName’ and ‘IsCollection’ at Object definition have been eliminated.
Two new attributes have been introduced at Object Definition, that would allow displaying a report and displaying a collection in the Browser. The changes enable viewing of all reports in browser, giving an experience of structured navigation as ‘GoTo’ reports.
Attribute – Current Report
The attribute ‘Current Report’ at the object definition allows providing the name of a report which is required to be in the browser list.
Syntax
Example
[Object: GT Trial Balance]
Use : GoTo Report Obj
Name : $$LocaleString:”Trial Balance”
Current Report : Trial Balance
Attribute – Current Collection
The attribute ‘Current Collection’ at the object definition allows providing the name of a collection which is required to be in the browser list.
Syntax
Example
[Object: GT Group Overdue Receivables]
Use : GoTo Group Obj
Name : $$LocaleString:”Group Overdue Receivables”
ViewName : $$LocaleString:”Overdue Receivables”
Current Collection : Group Overdue Receivables
Most of the interfaces in TallyPrime are customisable; however, few interfaces would be restricted. They are:
Top menus : Toolbar
About Page Report
All licensing and upgrade reports.
GoTo / Switch To– Customised reports can be included in GoTo. However, it is restricted to change the structure of the collection.
Company selection reports
All default folder selections
Core actions such as Shut company and Login as remote.
Create/Alter Master – New options can be added, structure change is not allowed
Please note that this reference manual is made while we are still working to refine the product for the official launch; this is based on the current view of the features/capabilities.
Since the default application TDL has changed to accommodate the desired experience, some definitions are updated or removed. We may also find some code categorised as unused which may be eventually removed. Hence we suggest you to perform thorough testing of all your customisations.
Example

Suggesting not to use any unused code as it may be removed in the upcoming releases.
How To Stop Excel From Changing Numbers To Dates Automatically
Excel has some really smart features that can be really useful in many cases (and sometimes it could be frustrating).
One such area is when you enter numbers in Excel. Sometimes, Excel automatically changes these numbers to dates.
For example, if you enter 1/2 in Excel, Excel will automatically change this to 01-02-2023 (or 02-01-2023 if you’re in the US)
Similarly, if you enter 30-06-2023, Excel assumes you want to enter a date, and it changes this to a date (as shown below)
While this may be what you want in most cases, but what if I don’t want this. What if I simply want the exact text 30-06-2023 or the fraction 1/2.
How do I stop Excel from changing numbers to dates?
That’s what this tutorial is about.
In this Excel tutorial, I will show you two really simple ways to stop Excel from changing numbers to text.
But before I show you methods, let me quickly explain why Excel does this.
While it can be frustrating when Excel does this, it’s trying to help.
In most cases, when people enter numbers that can also represent valid date formats in Excel, it will automatically convert these numbers into dates.
And this just doesn’t mean that it changes the format, it actually changes the underlying value.
For example, if you enter 3/6/2023 (or 6/3/2023 if you’re in the US and using the US date format), Excel changes the cell value to 44012, which is the numerical value of the date.
Also read: How to Convert Numbers to Text in ExcelThe only way to stop Excel from changing these numbers (or text string) into dates is by clearing letting it know that these are not numbers.
Let’s see how to do this.
The easiest way to make sure Excel understands that it’s not supposed to change a number to date is by specifying the format of the cell as Text.
Since dates are stored as numbers, when you make the format of a cell text, Excel will understand that the entered number is supposed to be in the text format and not to be converted into a date.
Below is how you can stop Excel from changing numbers to dates:
Select the cell or range of cells where you want to make the format as Text
The above steps would change the cell format to text. Now when you enter any number such as 30-06-2023 or 1/2, Excel will not convert these into date format.
Note: You need to change the format before you enter the number. If you do this after the number has been entered, this would change the format to text but you would get the numeric value of the date and not the exact number/text-string you entered.
This method is best suited when you have to change the format of a range of cells. If you only have to do this for a couple of cells, it’s best to use the apostrophe method covered next
If you only have to enter a number in a few cells and you don’t want Excel to change it to date, you can use this simple technique.
Just add an apostrophe sign before you enter the number (as shown below).
When you add an apostrophe at the very beginning, Excel considers that cell as text.
While you would not see the apostrophe sign, you can visually see that the numbers would be aligned to the left (indicating that it’s text).
By default, all numbers align to the right and all text values align to the left.
Another benefit of using the apostrophe sign is that you can still use the lookup formulas (such as VLOOKUP or MATCH) using the value in the cell. The apostrophe will be ignored by these functions.
You can also use this method to change existing dates into text. For example, if you have 30-06-2023 in a cell, you can simply add an apostrophe (‘) at the beginning and it will be changed the date to text
While these methods are great, what if you have a column full of dates that you want to use as a text and not as dates. Here are some simple methods you can use to convert date to text in Excel.
