Meizu M6S Announced With Interesting Specs And Features
Design & AppearanceThe Meizu M6S comes with a simple design. This smartphone has a full-metal rear and a bezel-less display which gives it a flagship look. The mBlu branding is lodged at the rear of the phone which is contrary to what we saw before its launch. With a full-screen display and a U shaped nano injection antenna design, this smartphone could easily be confused with a flagship model at first glance.
To increase the appeal for this device, Meizu has added a lot of lovely cases, and the smartphone will be available in Gold, Gray, Black, and Blue.
HardwareThe Meizu M6S is powered by a Samsung Exynos 7872 processor (first device to use this chip) coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. This Soc is developed with the 14nm process, and it comes with two Cortex A73 cores and four Cortex A53 cores. It is equipped with an 18:9 5.7-inch HD+ display with 1440 x 720p resolution. The lights of this smartphone are powered by an acceptable 3000mAh. However, the interesting part of this smartphone battery is that it is compatible with 18W fast charging which can deliver 100% in about an hour.
We have seen a couple of manufacturers, especially Sony, use the side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Meizu M6S also uses a side mounted fingerprint scanner, and the company believes that it is natural for day to day operation.
Gizchina News of the week CameraIn the camera department, the Meizu M6S is quite impressive. It comes with a 16MP snapper on the rear and an 8MP selfie shooter. The rear snapper is a Samsung CMOS sensor with HDR which is designed by ArcSoft for this smartphone. This camera comes with a f/2.0 aperture and 5P lens. Similarly, the 8MP front camera comes with special features like Intelligent facial brightness and adaptive beauty mode. It has a similar aperture like the rear camera, and it also uses ArcSoft algorithms.
OSThis smartphone comes with Flyme 6.2 version coupled with Meizu’s OneMind AI engine. During gameplay, the frame rate stability can be increased by 20% with the game mode. As of now, there is no mention of an Android version.
Special FeaturesMeizu has expunged the mBack button thus navigation is handled by the Super mBack feature. Users can get perfect control of this device using the dedicated circular pressure sensor chip and linear vibration motor. With this, a tap will execute different functions depending on the part of the circle that is tapped. This coupled with other gestures makes this device very appealing. However, we will have to wait for some good reviews before we can indeed determine the correct operability of this feature.
Price & AvailabilityThe Meizu M6S has two variants – the 3GB + 32GB version and the 3GB + 64GB model. While the former costs 999 Yuan ($155), the latter will go for 1199 Yuan ($186). As for the lovely cases, each will be sold for 49 Yuan ($7.5), but if you are buying it together with the smartphone, it will be sold for 39 Yuan ($6). As for its availability, users can start booking from 4:30 PM today.
Ipad: History, Specs, Pricing, Education, Review, Rumors, And Deals
Apple’s tablet debuted in 2010. Since the original version, it’s expanded into multiple screen sizes and Pro and non-Pro options.
The iPad is Apple’s base tablet model. In its ninth generation, the iPad focuses on being the perfect tool for education and people who seek a bigger screen to read and surface the web compared to the iPhone. With Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard support, the iPad has never been better.
HistoryThe iPad is a line of tablets designed and developed by Apple. It was originally announced in 2010, three years after the first iPhone was introduced. With a 9.7-inch screen and with iPhone OS 3.2 the iPad was a success, hitting 1 million tablets sold in over three months, half the time the first iPhone took to reach this mark.
Steve Jobs then unveiled the iPad 2 in March of 2011. About 33% thinner than its predecessor and 15% lighter, the second generation used the A5 chip, twice as faster as its predecessor. The iPad 2 also introduced front and back cameras that supported FaceTime video calls.
The successor of the iPad 2 wasn’t a success at all. The third generation was introduced in March of 2012 with a Retina display and the A5X processor. The problem with this tablet it was too heavy and the battery didn’t last long enough. In October of the same year, Apple announced the fourth generation with the A6X processor, HD FaceTime camera, improved LTE capabilities, and the Lightning connector.
At this October event, Apple also introduced the first iPad mini. In 2013, Apple went with the first iPad Air and the iPad mini 2. In 2023, the company introduced the first Pro model, with two different sizes.
In March of 2023, Apple announced the fifth-generation iPad with the A9 processor. It was a budget option compared to the other tablets. It was in 2023 that the company brought expressive news to the base iPad line. The sixth-generation had the A10 Fusion processor and fully supports the first-generation Apple Pencil.
A year later, the seventh generation was announced with a larger 10.2-inch display and support for the Smart Keyboard as well. It retained most of the specs of the previous model.
In September of 2023, the eighth generation was introduced alongside the fourth-generation iPad Air model. The eighth generation received an upgraded processor, now with the A12 Bionic, while keeping the same storage options: 32GB and 128GB.
In September of 2023, the ninth generation was introduced alongside a redesigned iPad mini. This iPad now features the A13 Bionic processor, True Tone support, and new storage options: 64GB and 256GB while keeping the same price.
iPad 9 SpecsThe ninth-generation iPad launched in September of 2023. Available in two colors, Silver and Space Gray, this tablet is made of 100% recyclable aluminum, and supports the first-generation Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard.
With thinner bezels, the product comes with a 10.2-inch Retina display with a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating, and True Tone support for the first time, which adjusts screen content to the color temperature of a room.
This tablet uses the A13 Bionic chip, the same available on the iPhone 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Max. It has an “all-day” battery with up to 10 hours of surfing the web on Wi-Fi or watching videos.
The iPad also comes in 64GB and 256GB storage options and Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + Cellular versions.
Revamped camerasFor the first time, this iPad shares the same FaceTime camera as the M1 iPad Pro with the Center Stage experience. With a new 12MP Ultra Wide front camera and Neural Engine, users can enjoy even more engaging video calls.
As users move around, Center Stage automatically pans the camera to keep them in view. When others join in, the camera detects them too, and smoothly zooms out to include them in the conversation. Center Stage makes video calls more natural in FaceTime as well as third-party video-calling apps.
Its main camera is the same: 8MP, f/2.4 aperture, and digital zoom up to 5x.
iPadOS 15The ninth-generation iPad comes with the iPadOS 15. Previewed during the WWDC21 keynote, the new operating system brings a redesigned Home Screen with widgets and App Library support.
On iPadOS 15, FaceTime group calls can finally appear in a grid, so it’s easier to see everyone. It’s also possible to share your screen, listen to Apple Music songs together, or watch Apple TV+, HBO Max, Disney+, and others while in a call.
The experience with an external keyboard allows users to get more done with all-new keyboard shortcuts and a redesign of the menu bar.
With the Quick Note feature, users can use the Apple Pencil to add a quick note. They just need to slide the pencil through the bottom right corner to the center of the screen and start writing.
iPadOS 15 launched on September 20. Learn more about it here.
iPadOS 15.1 featuresOne month after releasing iPadOS 15, Apple released iPadOS 15.1 More notable, the company finally brought SharePlay support for the iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. Unfortunately, Universal Control wasn’t one of the features added with this new version. Here’s what else is new:

Home
New automation triggers based on the current reading of a HomeKit-enabled humidity, air quality, or light level sensor

One of the most notable changes here is a fix for a Safari vulnerability that may have been leaking your browsing history and Google ID data to the websites you visited.
iPadOS 15.4 featuresiPadOS 15.4 finally brings one of the most important features expected from iPadOS 15 and that got delayed: Universal Control. Here’s everything new with iPadOS 15.4:

Apple Podcasts includes a new setting to limit episodes stored on your iPhone and automatically delete older ones

Fixes an issue in Safari where a tab may revert to a previous page.
iPadOS 15.7 featuresiPadOS 15.7 only brings bug fixes and some security improvements as the company readies the iPadOS 16 release.
EducationApple describes this iPad as the go-to tablet for education. For several years the company discounts this tablet up to 10%.
Apple is always promoting ways students can use the iPad to learn new things: using Augmented Reality, the Apple Pencil, and how to code with Playgrounds.
The company says the “App Store is the best place to discover apps” for education purposes:
“Let your curiosity run wild with iPad. The App Store is the best place to discover apps that let you get a leg up in geometry, learn a new language, and attend virtual classes. You can even use augmented reality to learn something exciting, like watching the history of spaceflight unfold in your living room or making characters from your favorite book literally leap off the page.“

“The iPad 8 was never meant to be a huge update. But even still, I think this is easily the best value tablet you can buy. For $329, this tablet has so much to offer: The performance, the great battery life, and the Apple pencil functionality. Design Changes And New Features
Our Verdict
With the same Material Design at the heart of Android M, it’s not a big OS update but the tweaks and new features are all welcome. Stay tuned for more on Android M as we approach the full launch.
At Google I/O 2023, the internet giant predictably gave us our first look at the next version of Android, its mobile operating system for smartphones and tablets. Android 5.0 Lollipop updates are still rolling out but here’s a look at what Android M will bring in terms of new features. Here’s our Android L vs Android M preview.
Note: Before we launch into the comparison, it’s worth noting that this is the Android M Developer Preview (which we’re runing on the Nexus 6) so the new operating system is still very much a work in progress and will change by the time it launches properly. Therefore this article is something of a preview and we’ll update it when Android M is fully launched. See also: Android M vs iOS 9 comparison.
Android L vs Android M: Look and feelWe’re not going to go crazy with side-by-side screenshots of Android L and Android M here since Google has pretty much kept things the same. Lollipop was the version with something of an overhaul of the interface and Android M keeps the Material Design.
There are a few tweaks though such as a microphone icon at the bottom-left of the lockscreen instead of the phone (for the dialler) so you can quickly conduct a voice search or command. The app menu (or app draw) now displays vertically (as does the widgets drawer) with apps split into alphabetical groups – you can use the scroll bar at the side to quickly navigate to a particular letter. Plus there’s a new bar at the top which shows your four most recently used apps.
Smaller changes include two fields for memory management so you can see average and maximum amount of RAM an app has used. SD cards can also be formatted to appear as internal storage which will keep things nice and neat.
Unfortunately the Quick Settings can’t be rearranged as standard but there is a new addition in the form of do not disturb (DND). You can edit them with the device in Developer Mode switched on and the SystemUI Tuner also switched on.
Android L vs Android M: Android PayTo compete with Apple Pay and Samsung Pay, Google has announced Android Pay for Android M. It will let you pay for things (at participating stores) with your phone without needing to open an app. It uses NFC and Google said it will be accepted at over 700,000 stores in the US soon – there’s no word on other markets.
You can choose which card to pay with across multiple devices and your card information won’t even be part of the transaction. Google said: “Instead we’ll use a virtual account number to represent your account information – providing you with an extra layer of security.”
Android L vs Android M: Fingerprint scannersFingerprint scanners are already around on various devices but Android M has native fingerprint support which enhances Android Pay by allowing users to confirm a purchase with their fingerprint. Your fingerprint can be also used to unlock devices and make purchases on Google Play.
“With new APIs in M, it’s easy for you to add fingerprint authorization to your app and have it work consistently across a range of devices and sensors,” said Google.
Android L vs Android M: App permissionsThe permissions apps require in Android have always been something of a sore point, with many apps asking for way more than necessary and looking on the dodgy side. Well Android M is putting the control into the hands of the user.
Apps will request certain permissions at runtime so you can choose whether to grant it or not but you can also control the individual permissions for each app in the settings.
Android L vs Android M: Battery lifeWe always want better battery life and short of new battery technology software has a big part to play. In Android M, a feature called Doze will use sensors to detect when a device is not in use and put it into a deep sleep type mode. You’ll still receive important notifications and the like but it has the potential to double battery life which is what Google has seen running Android M on the Nexus 9.
Android L vs Android M: USB Type CAlthough battery life should be better, you’ll need to charge your device eventually and Android M supports USB Type C which is reversible so you can’t plug it in the wrong way and could well be on the Nexus 5 2023. Even better is the fact it will charge your device quicker (three to five times) and you can use it to charge other devices if needs be.
Android L vs Android M: Now on tapGoogle Now is helpful for all kinds of things within Android but it’s going to get better in Android M. Now on tap means you can press and hold the home button whenever you need help – Google Now will appear without you needing to navigate anywhere and will already know what you’re doing like trying to find the way to a restaurant.

Apple Watch Se: History, Specs, Pricing, Review, Deals, And Rumors
The Apple Watch SE starts at $279 and includes the same form factor as the Apple Watch Series 4/5/6. It includes Apple’s S5 processor and is available in GPS and cellular models.
The Apple Watch SE combines the power of the Apple Watch Series 6 with features from Series 5 and Series 4. With a lower price than the current generation of Apple’s smartwatch, the SE can also be a great option for kids or older family members without an iPhone.
HistoryThe Apple Watch was first introduced in 2023 and quickly became the best-selling wearable device of the year, reportedly selling 4.2 million units in Q2 2023. When the company introduced the Apple Watch Series 2 later in 2023, Apple labeled the original Apple Watch as “Series 0” while bringing an updated chip with “Series 1” and a brand new “Series 2” Watch.
It was only in 2023 that Apple introduced a different brand for the Apple Watch with the Apple Watch SE, combining the Series 6 processor, the Series 4 design, and some Series 5 features. According to Apple:
“This Watch combines elements of the Series 6 design with the most essential features of Apple Watch, all at a more affordable price,” said Jeff Williams, Apple’s chief operating officer, in the September of 2023 keynote.
In 2023, Apple discontinued the Apple Watch Series 6 while maintaining Series 3 available as well as the Apple Watch SE, and the new Apple Watch Series 7.
Apple Watch SE Specs and FeaturesThe Apple Watch SE is available in Aluminum with 40mm or 44mm cases in Silver, Space Gray, and Gold. The Retina display is 30% larger than Series 3, so you can see more and use all the latest watch faces and complications. This Apple Watch features:
The second-generation optical heart sensor
Dual-core S5 chip, twice as faster than the S3 processor
Digital Crown with haptic feedback
Compass
Always-On Altimeter
The second-generation speaker and mic.
Apple Watch SE can withstand up to 50m of water and notifies about high and low heart rate and irregular heart rhythm. With International emergency calling and fall detection, the Apple Watch can also help in times of emergency.
You can choose between the GPS model or the GPS + Cellular. Both versions have an “all-day battery” of up to 18 hours.
Apple Watch SE currently runs watchOS 8. Learn more about the latest updates here.
Apple Watch SE for children and older peopleWhen Apple announced the Apple Watch SE, one of its focuses was on children and older people. With watchOS 7, users can finally set multiple Watches on their iPhone but let other people use them with the Family Share feature.
With Family Setup, you can use your iPhone to pair watches for your children or older adults who don’t have their own iPhone. So everyone can stay in touch by phone, text message, or Walkie-Talkie. They also can do things like play music, find apps, and close their Activity rings. It’s more independence for your kids and parents, and you have the comfort of knowing they’re just a call away.
The company says that, for older people, the Fall Detection feature is a must, while giving children redesigned activity rings, focusing on movement rather than calories burned.
With its $279 price tag, Apple says it’s best to use an Apple Watch to track and find family members rather than using the AirTag to find people, which the company strongly discourages.
watchOS 7The Apple Watch SE runs the watchOS 7.5. With watchOS 7, Apple introduced new features to the Watch, for example:
Family Setup: you can pair watches for children and older family members to your iPhone
New Watch Faces: there’s a new Memoji Watch Face and more
Face Sharing: share faces you created by texting, emailing, or posting a link online
Sleep app: when you go to bed, the Watch automatically turns on Do Not Disturb and keeps your screen from waking
Fitness: with more workouts added
watchOS 7.4With watchOS 7.4, Apple introduced the iPhone mask unlock feature for Apple Watch and Brough support for the ECG app and irregular heart rhythm notifications to Australia and Vietnam.

Advantages And Features Of Mysql Innodb
Introduction of MySQL InnoDB
Mysql supports many storage engines for the table, which define the internal working and support for different features of the tables. Some of the storage engines supported by MySQL include InnoDB, MyISAM, Memory, CSV, Merge, Archive, Federated, Blackhole, and Example. The Innodb storage engine is the most widely utilized among them, while MyISAM is one of the original storage engines used in internal tables for manipulating MySQL databases belonging to information_schema and MySQL databases.

Hadoop, Data Science, Statistics & others
Advantages of InnoDB Storage Engine
All the data manipulation language statements and operations support the ACID(Atomicity, Consistency, Isolation, and Durability) transaction properties and other transactional features of rollback, commit, and crash-recovery support for securing the user data.
To avoid inconsistency in the tables that are related and dependent on each other, the InnoDB storage engine supports the usage of the foreign keys that help in the consistent update, insert and delete operations and helps in maintaining integrity and consistency in the contents of tables of the database.
Features of MySQL InnoDBFeatures of InnoDB include B-tree indexes, Backup/point-in-time recovery, Clustered indexes, Compressed data, Data caches, Encrypted data, Foreign key support, Full-text search indexes for MySQL 5.6 and later versions, Geospatial data type support, Geospatial indexing support for MySQL 5.7 and later versions, Index caches, Locking granularity at the Row level, MVCC, Replication support, Storage limits up to 64TB, Transactions, Update statistics for the data dictionary. InnoDB uses hash indexes internally for the Adaptive Hash Index feature, but it does not support the use of hash indexes directly for manipulating InnoDB tables.
Examples of MySQL InnoDBWhenever we create a table using create table statement in MySQL 5.5 and above versions, the default storage engine of the created table is always Innodb. In contrast, for the versions before MySQL 5.5, MyISAM is the default storage engine for the table. We can mention the table’s storage engine while creating it by using the ENGINE= clause if we want to create a table of any other storage engine or in case we want to specify the engine type as InnoDB explicitly.
Firstly, we will see how we can use the ENGINE= clause to specify the storage engine with the help of an example. We will create a table named educba_innodb using the following create table statement –
CREATE TABLE educba_innodb (id INTEGER, description VARCHAR(20), PRIMARY KEY (id)) ENGINE=InnoDB;Output:
While making the table with the InnoDB storage engine, it is necessary to use a primary key column that has the following properties –
Most of the crucial queries should utilize and reference this column.
Ensure that the column always has a value and is never left blank.
Duplicate values should never exist in this column.
The value in this column should remain unchanged once it is inserted into the table.
We can check the status of the table and all the related information by using the SHOW TABLE STATUS statement in MySQL. For example, if we want to check the status of the table we created earlier named educba_innodb, then we will use the following query statement –
SHOW TABLE STATUS FROM educba LIKE 'educba_innodb' G;that gives the following output displaying all the details related to the educba_innodb table –
In our case, we can even see the table’s engine in this status, which is InnoDB.
CREATE TABLE educba_myisam (id INTEGER, description VARCHAR(20), PRIMARY KEY (id)) ENGINE=MyISAM;that gives the following output –
After checking the status using the following query for the educba_myisam table –
SHOW TABLE STATUS FROM educba LIKE 'educba_myisam' G;gives the following output saying the Engine of the table is MyISAM –
To determine the default storage engine installed on your database server, you can execute the following command:
SELECT @@default_storage_engine;Running the above command gives the following output:
Let us try creating a table without specifying the ENGINE= clause in CREATE TABLE statement. We will create a table named educba_default using the following query –
CREATE TABLE educba_default (id INTEGER, description VARCHAR(20), PRIMARY KEY (id));that gives the output as follows after execution –
Let’s check the table’s status to determine which storage engine was used by default when creating the table. Earlier, we queried and found that the default storage engine for MySQL installed on your machine is InnoDB. Hence, the educba_default should have an InnoDB engine. Here’s the output –
SHOW TABLE STATUS FROM educba LIKE 'educba_default' G;Running the above command gives the following output:
ConclusionThe InnoDB storage engine is the default engine assigned to the table while creating in Mysql 5.5 and above versions. To explicitly mention the table’s storage engine while creating, you can use the ENGINE= clause. The Innodb engine performs well due to many features, such as row-level locking, transaction support, and indexing on primary keys. InnoDB storage engine also provides the feature to use foreign keys that help maintain the consistency and integrity of MySQL databases. Concurrent access by multiple users and each of them retrieving consistent data is possible using the InnoDB storage engine.
