When you open Outlook, sometimes you receive the following error message:

No email program is assigned to perform the desired action. Install an appropriate e-mail program, or create an assignment in the Control Panel under Default Programs if a program is already installed.

When this error occurs, it is also no longer possible to transfer files to the Outlook system. And that can be pretty annoying especially if you have something urgent to send.

How do I fix no email program associated to perform the action?

1. Set an email program as default

Press

the Windows key +

I, and select Apps.

Choose the

Default Apps, and select the application under the

Email section.

Mail (Or an application of your choice) from the newly appeared list.

Restart your PC.

If you don’t have an email program, then you can download any email program of your choice and then follow the above steps to set it as default.

By default, Windows 10 comes with a simple Mail client. Keep in mind that this application is a very down basic version compared to Outlook, and the automatic insertion of BCC email addresses can not possible with it.

2. Delete the Outlook registry keys

Press the Windows key

+ R.

Sprint and T-Mobile

Sprint charges $5/month for 12-months to opt-in for yearly upgrades. T-Mobile charges between $9-$15/month for its JUMP program that provides yearly upgrade options and an extended warranty.

The latest MacBook Pros fully embraced USB-C. Charging, displays, and other I/O are all connected through this universal port. In a profession that is quite storage-intensive, I’ve spent my fair share of time researching and testing hard drives. The Glyph Atom has become my latest favorite, and has so far been my drive of choice with my new MacBook Pro.

When searching for a drive, there are so many routes to go down. First, you need to decide if you’d like a portable drive, to tote around with you, or if you want a stationary desktop drive.

Desktop drives are usually relegated to be the larger storage options. They can be larger and more power-intensive after all.

Portable rigs are often a bit more expensive and have lower capacities. After all, they have to cram the tech into a smaller body, while retaining speed and adding some ruggedness.

Glyph fits into the portable drive camp. Though surprisingly, being an SSD it has quite a fair bit of storage.

Drives speeds

Aside from sizes and capacities, drives also come in a variety of speeds, and I/O. You may have a blazing fast drive, but if you are limited to USB 2.0, it won’t go faster than a maximum 480Mbps.

Traditional hard drives are slowest. Usually coming in at 5400Rpm or 7200Rpm, with the faster rotation being the faster drive. Hard drives are usually limited to around 180MBps.

Solid State Drives, or SSDs are faster, because there are no moving parts, and can have read speeds up to 450MBps. This is quite respectful! The very popular Samsung T5 falls into this category.

Turns out though, you can make that speed go faster. Enter RAID drives.

What makes Glyph different

Glyph utilizes RAID-0. This is known as striping RAID. What happens is that instead of writing to just one drive at 480MBps, it writes to two drives simultaneously. Ostensibly doubling the read and write speed of the drive.

The exterior of the drive is also really nice. It has a smooth anodized aluminum finish that while not just matching the MacBooks, is a great heatsink. It also comes in a silicone sleeve. The sleeve is removable if your Glyph would prefer not to adorn it. I really love when companies pay attention to the details, and Glyph does that because if you do take of the silicone cover, underneath are two silicone feet on the bottom to still prevent it from sliding on your desk. I really like that aspect. Though when you are on the go, the cover is best left in place as to not scratch the drive, or any of your other metal gadgets.

Performance

While other SSDs like the Samsung T5 can write at 450MBps, the Glyph is capable of writing all the way up to 860MBps, in theory. That is nearly double the performance! Real world usage is going to be a lot slower, right? Well, after several run throughs of the Black Magic Disk Speedtest, I was regularly getting between 700 to nearly 900 MBps. Those are some fantastic numbers to be seeing on a portable drive.

I/O

The Glyph works great with the new MacBook Pro because it is fully capable of using USB-C and Thunderbolt 3. In the box, it comes with a USB-C cable, as well as a USB-C to USB-A for older machines that don’t fully support the USB-C standard.

That single USB-C port is the only port on the drive, so you don’t have to worry about any additional power, or other cords to look for.

The bottom line

When I say I’ve tried dozens on dozens of drives, I mean it. I have network drives, desktop drives, build-your-own RAID solutions, etc. I always look for redundancies and ways to protect my data.

Glyph has outperformed nearly all my other drives. It is fast, functional, and looks great. I’m not saying that the Glyph is the only drive out there that supports two, RAID-0 SSDs in a super tiny USB-C enclosure, but I’m saying that its competition is limited.

A dictionary is used to store data in the form of key-value pair in the collation without any defined-order. Here the type of the keys are same as well as the type of the values are also same. Each key is behave like an identifier for the associate value inside the dictionary and each value has a unique key. Swift dictionary is just like the real dictionary. Wafaa El-Sadr, AIDS activist, physician, and researcher, was dismissed by critics years ago when she proposed treating AIDS sufferers in Africa. They said the treatment was too expensive and difficult and that there weren’t enough trained health care workers to reach the sick. At that time, wealthy countries treated their own who had HIV or AIDS, but millions in poorer nations weren’t as fortunate.

She was determined to prove the doubters wrong, said El-Sadr, director of the International Center for AIDS Care and Treatment Programs, of the Center for Infectious Disease Epidemiologic Research, and of the Global Health Initiative, all of Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health.

“Rather than encountering a world that encourages you to dream big, you may find yourself mired in a ‘culture of no’ — one where fear of failure means that great ideas don’t even get a try,” the 59-year-old professor of medicine and epidemiology told the audience at Boston University’s Baccalaureate service on Commencement morning in Marsh Chapel. “You will have to decide, sometimes on a daily basis, whether to listen to the naysayers, and when instead to believe in your own vision and have the fortitude to push forward.”

The infectious disease specialist and leading AIDS researcher told Baccalaureate celebrants that the HIV/AIDS epidemic has defined her professional life.

El-Sadr’s work has provided lifesaving treatment to almost a million individuals in sub-Saharan Africa and has led to the creation of a comprehensive HIV treatment program at New York City’s Harlem Hospital Center. In 2008, she was named a John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation Fellow, also known as the Genius Award, for her creativity, originality, and potential to make important contributions for the future.

The Baccalaureate ceremony began with an organ and brass prelude, followed by a greeting and prayer by the Reverend Robert Allan Hill, dean of Marsh Chapel. University Provost David Campbell read from the Wisdom of Solomon, and President Robert A. Brown read from the Gospel of Matthew.

El-Sadr began by reminiscing about her own graduation, from Cairo University. She recalled not being able to wait for the ceremony to end.

“Little did I know that memories of those wonderful student times would stay with me for years and years,” she said. “Little did I know how those formative years in Egypt would shape my approach to the challenges to come. And little did I know that this would not be a sprint, but a marathon.”

Prior to working at the Mailman School, El-Sadr served for two decades as chief of the division of infectious diseases at Harlem Hospital Center, where she was instrumental in developing an internationally recognized HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis program focused on treatment, training, and research.

“The word ‘misguided’ was often used to describe the plans that I and my colleagues began to propose and work on,” she said. “Yet, it was simply wrong to deprive people of something that could prevent or alleviate their suffering.”

Their work is far from over. Currently about 33 million people around the world live with HIV/AIDS, El-Sadr said. In the United States, one million people have AIDS, about twice the population of Boston. Don’t be overwhelmed by these statistics, she urged — be inspired to fight for a cure.

In conclusion, El-Sadr told Baccalaureate celebrants that no matter where their work brings them, “never succumb to the culture of no. Believe in your own wisdom and have the personal strength to push forward with your own ideas. You will make a difference!”

Run System File Checker in Safe Mode, Boot Time or Offline

Run the System File Checker tool from Windows Recovery Environment

1] Check if the Windows Modules Installer service is running

The issue that you are currently facing might occur if the Windows Modules Installer service is disabled. You can check this in the Windows Services Manager in Windows 11/10. The steps to do this are as follows:

Launch the Run command box by pressing the Win + R keys.

Scroll down and locate Windows Modules Installer.

Select Manual in Start type.

2] Run Chkdsk scan

It might be possible that your computer’s HDD has bad sectors or logical errors. It is necessary to repair the bad sectors on a hard drive. Ignoring this may create a problem for you, as it may result in data loss or may cause more damage to the hard drive. If the SFC tool is unable to complete the requested task, it is better to take the help of another diagnostic and repair tool.

You can run a Chkdsk scan on your computer and see if it helps. Run the Chkdsk scan on all your drive partitions one by one. If the tool finds any bad sector or logical errors on your drive partitions, it will repair them. After the completion of the Chkdsk scan, restart your computer and check if you can run the SFC scan.

3] Run System File Checker in Safe Mode, Boot Time or Offline

If you are unable to run the SFC scan after repairing your hard drive, some of your system’s components might be conflicting with the SFC tool. You may try to run Run System File Checker in Safe Mode, Boot Time or Offline.

If you do not get the error while running the SFC scan in Safe Mode, let the System File Checker complete its task. It will repair all the corrupted System Image files in the Safe Mode.

4] Run the System File Checker tool from Windows Recovery Environment

If for some reason, Windows could not enter Safe Mode, try running the SFC tool from Windows Recovery Environment. To do so, first, you have to enter into the Windows Recovery Environment.

sfc /scannow

If the System File Checker tool does not display the error message the time, let it complete the scan.

5] Use DISM tool

The DISM tool is helpful when the SFC is not able to repair the corrupted system files or if the SFC tool fails to complete the requested task. DISM tool also helps repair the corrupted System Image files. Because the SFC tool is failing on your computer, you can use the DISM scan in its place.

If the SFC scan is not working, there might be some logical errors or bad sectors in your disk. To fix this problem, you can run a Chkdsk scan. Microsoft has developed the Chkdsk utility to fix the logical errors and bad sectors on a computer disk. You can run the Chkdsk san on all hard drive partitions.
