Suggested January 2024 Windows 10 21H2 Officially Available For Download On November 16
Microsoft releases Windows 10 21H2 (November 2023 Update) on November 16, 2023.
The new version is available for versions 21H1, 20H2, and 2004 with an enablement package.
Older versions of Windows 10 can upgrade to version 21H2 using the reinstallation process.
Windows 10 21H2 (November 2023 Update) is available starting November 16 as a free update for compatible computers. This is the twelfth feature update available for desktops and tablets that introduces a very small set of improvements and features to enhance the user experience.
Since November 2023 Update is based on the same core system files available on versions, 21H1, 20H2, and 2004, computers running the last three versions will receive the new update as a small enablement package that will install as a cumulative update without the need for reinstallation. However, it won’t happen automatically, because this is an optional update that you must install manually.
Upgrade to Windows 10 21H2, November 2023 UpdateIf you have an older version of Windows, you can still install version 21H2 through Windows Update. However, it may take a sometime before the update becomes available since Microsoft is initially only updating versions 21H1, 20H2, and 2004. Also, remember that upgrading from version 1909 or older will require reinstallation.
Update Assistant and Media Creation ToolYou can also download Windows 10 21H2 manually using the Update Assistant to force the upgrade in case that Windows Update is not working. In addition, you can use the Media Creation Tool to perform an in-place upgrade without losing your files. However, using either of these tools will require a complete reinstallation of Windows.
Alternatively, it’s possible to use the Media Creation Tool to perform a clean install of the November 2023 Update, which can help to improve system performance and fix problems. Also, you can download the ISO file with version 21H2 to perform an in-place upgrade or clean install from USB.
What’s new on Windows 10 21H2, November 2023 UpdateWindows 10 21H2 is yet another minor update without significant changes since Microsoft is only maintaining this version for computers that do not meet the minimum system requirements to upgrade to Windows 11.
In this new version, Microsoft is adding support for external cameras to use Windows Hello for Business. In addition, users without administrator privileges can configure the display language and other languages, and for Windows Autopilot, the update will add support for TPM attestation for Intel 11th Gen processors.
Furthermore, version 21H2 adds WPA3 H2E (Wi-Fi Protected Access 3 Hash-to-Element) standards support to wireless security, and you will get GPU compute support in the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) and Azure IoT Edge for Linux on Windows (EFLOW) deployments for machine learning and other workflows.
You can start downloading the new semi-annual feature update starting on November 16, 2023.
If you are not ready for the new version, Windows 10 won’t automatically install the new version unless your version is getting close to the end of service.
Microsoft also has confirmed that moving forward Windows 10 will only receive one feature update per year to align with the release cadence of Windows 11, which means that the next feature update will arrive during the second half of 2023. Furthermore, the company is renaming the servicing option for releases to the “General Availability Channel,” which replaces the previous “Semi-Annual Channel” term for the servicing option.
Finally, the Home and Pro editions of version 21H2 are expected to receive 18 months of support, and the Enterprise and Education editions will receive 30 months of support beginning November 16, 2023.

How To Install Windows 10 November 2023 (21H2) Update Right Now
After the release of Windows 11, Microsoft has moved to a yearly update cycle for Windows 10. However, before that change goes into effect next year, it has released the Windows 11 November 2023 (21H2) update to users. If you are running Windows 10, you can update to the latest Windows 10 November 2023 build right away. Generally, Microsoft rolls out major updates in a phased manner, and it might take some time before the update reaches your PC. So if you want to jump the line and try out the latest Windows 10 21H2 update right now, follow the instructions below. We have included two methods to install the Windows 10 November 2023 update on your PC.
In this article, we have mentioned two ways to install the Windows 10 21H2 build on your PC. Based on your expertise, you can move to the desired section from the table below. Also, we have listed all the new features in Windows 10 November 2023 build. So without further ado, let’s dive right in!
The Windows 10 November 2023 release is a feature update, but there are not many user-facing additions to this build. Except for the fact that you get WPA3 H2E standard support for better security while connecting to a Wi-Fi network. WPA3 brings enhanced security than the traditional WPA2 security protocol used on routers, even when you are using a simple password for your Wi-Fi.
Apart from that, users who are on Windows 10 version 2004 or later will be able to install the November update much faster. Besides that, Microsoft has mentioned these changes in its official blog post.
Adding WPA3 H2E standards support for enhanced Wi-Fi security
Faster update installation for users who are on Windows 10, version 2004 or later
Windows Hello for Business introduces a new deployment method called cloud trust to support simplified passwordless deployments and achieve a deploy-to-run state within a few minutes
GPU compute support in the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) and Azure IoT Edge for Linux on Windows (EFLOW) deployments for machine learning and other compute intensive workflows
1. Open the Settings page using the Windows 11 keyboard shortcut “Windows + I”. Then, move to “Update & Security“.
That’s it. After downloading the update, restart your PC, and you will move to Windows 10 November 2023 build. If you have not gotten the 21H2 update yet, move to the next section.
The easiest way to update your PC to the latest Windows 10 21H2 build is through the official Windows Update Assistant. You don’t need to create any bootable USB or worry about wiping data. This method installs the update over your existing Windows 10 build and keeps files and programs intact. Here is how you go about it.
4. Finally, the Update Assistant will start downloading the Windows 10 21H2 build on your PC.
5. Post that, it will automatically install the update and ask you to restart the PC. Now, you will be upgraded to the Windows 10 November 2023 build without much effort.
Install Windows 10 (21H2) November 2023 Build With Bootable USB4. After downloading the ISO image of the Windows 10 November 2023 build, go ahead and download Rufus (Free). It’s a free utility that allows you to create a USB bootable drive. In case you find Rufus needlessly complex, check out other Rufus alternatives from this curated list.
7. To install Windows 10 November 2023 build from a USB drive, you need to restart your computer. As your PC boots up, you will need to start pressing the boot key continuously.
Note: On HP laptops, pressing the “Esc” key during startup brings up the Startup menu. For other laptops and desktops, you will have to look for the boot key on the Internet. It should be one of these: F12, F9, F10, etc.
8. Then, press “F9” (the key can be different for your laptop/ desktop) to open “Boot Device Options”. Here, select the thumb drive that you created and hit Enter.
10. On the next page, choose “I don’t have a product key“.
11. After that, you might be asked to select the Windows 10 edition. If you are using a laptop with activated Windows, the edition will be selected automatically based on your earlier configuration.
14. Finally, Windows 10 November 2023 build will be installed from the USB drive to your PC.
15. After the installation, your PC will reboot automatically. During the bootup process, remove the USB thumb drive, and you will boot into Windows 10 November 2023 build. Enjoy!

App developers have continuously tried to provide us with specialized apps that are the very best at what they do. We have awesome audio players, music players or audio book players, but despite this, the number of apps that offer a complete multimedia experience, spanning across multiple types of media is pretty low.
Good apps that provide these services are even fewer. But in this category, there are some that stand out, and one of them is Multimedia 8 for Windows 10, Windows 8. Many say that it is one of the best multimedia apps they have ever tried, thanks to its battery of features, and I tend to agree with them. Today, we’ll be taking a look at what makes Multimedia 8 for Windows 10, Windows 8 such a great app.
Multimedia 8 for Windows 10, 8 – The Complete Multimedia ExperienceUnleash the power of Windows 8 with Multimedia 8, a free media application that allows you to access network media, load subtitles, convert media files, play 3D video, capture from external devices and much more!
For starters, Multimedia 8 for Windows 10, Windows 8 is a free app that can be downloaded by anyone from the Windows Store and it can be run on both Windows 10, Windows 8 and Windows RT, which is perfect for both computers and mobile devices. Although it is dedicated for mobile devices, during testing on a Windows 8, Windows 10 computer, the app has performed exemplary.
The main menu of the app is very well designed, offering users access to almost all the features that it has, starting from video playback, audio playback, online playback, media servers or playlists, as well as organized media by the user.
Although a part of the browsing is done via the default Windows 8, Windows 10 file explorer, it does not cover all parts of the app, so on a computer where you keep your media files elsewhere than in the Music or Video folders from User Documents, you will not have the possibility to browse to your music folder. This might come as a drawback, but it can be overcome by creating playlists with other apps or other players and load the playlist files to the app.
Expert tip:
Also on the main screen, users can find other options by scrolling to the left, where the developers have created the Recording Area, where anyone who uses a device (computer or mobile) that has a video camera or a microphone, can record videos or audio as they please. Also here, you can see a list of the recent files that were played.
The developers of Multimedia 8 for Windows 10, Windows 8 have put a lot of work in providing users with an assortment of features that will tend to their every need. The list of features, as provided by the developers goes as follows:
Play media from your libraries and Media Servers
SRT and WebVTT subtitles
3D video
Multilanguage media
Create, manage and shuffle playlists
Convert and trim media to MP4 and WMV
PlayTo your DLNA TV
PlayTo from other devices, such as Windows Phone, to Multimedia 8
Search your libraries and Media Servers
Video Stabilization
Capture audio and video
As you can see, Multimedia 8 has some very interesting features, trying to provide users with all the options they need in order to have a better multimedia experience. From subtitles to video convertion and video players, it has it all. I could go as far as to say that Multimedia 8 for Windows 10, Windows 8 is the all-inclusive package and all you could ever want from a media app.
